Seminar: Gay and Lesbian Senior Housing
The cost is $20 for members and $35 for non members
PridePlanners
welcomes David Aronstein of Stonewall Communities who will speak to us
about the changing landscape of senior housing and of the need for
dedicated senior housing that serves the gay and lesbian communities.
Based on extensive market research, Stonewall Communities is a G&L
senior housing community being developed to address the concern that
mainstream senior independent living, assisted-living, and retirement
communities are not designed to meet the needs and lifestyles of older
gay men and lesbians. David will discuss the results of his market
research and the efforts of Stonewall Communities and other similar
projects in planning and development stages across the country to meet
this growing demand. David will also include a discussion of different
financing and investment opportunities.
This
is an audioconference with a handout which will be distributed to
registrants in advance of the conference. Following David's talk, there
will be a question and answer period.
